About Us
The Owner/President of the company, Peter Arana, is a second generation electrical contractor. He has been working in the electrical industry since he was 15 years old, doing summer work for his father. At the age of 17 he joined the US Marine Corp and received an Honorable Discharge at the end of his four year enlistment. After his discharge in 1984, he started working for his fathers electrical construction firm on a full time basis, working his way up from apprentice, to estimator and project manager. In 1989 he passed the NJ electrical contractors exam and started City Electrical Contractors on a part time basis while still working for his fathers firm. In 1996 he resigned from his fathers firm and began dedicating himself full time to City Electrical Contractors. Mr. Arana is also licensed has an Electrical Inspector in the state of NJ, and holds a New York City Electrical Contractors License.
